Use the file library
Browse uploaded, generated, and exported files from account settings.
The file library collects files you uploaded and files Convography created, including generated images and exported responses. Open it from Account settings → Files.
Browse the library#
The Files tab shows the file name, source, size, added date, and available actions. Use the source filters to view:
- All files;
- Uploaded files;
- files Created by app.
Search filters by file name. Use descriptive names before upload so a file is easy to recognize in the library and composer.

Understand file states#
An upload becomes usable only after storage, checksum, MIME-type, and security processing succeed. A file can be listed but temporarily unavailable for AI context if processing is incomplete or its type is unsupported by the selected provider.
The chat file picker disables unavailable files and explains that they are not ready or cannot be used for AI context yet. Refresh the library after a short wait if an upload is still processing.
Select files for bulk actions#
Use each row’s checkbox or Select all visible files. The selection bar can download one file directly, download several as files.zip, or delete selected files. Bulk download and delete accept up to 100 files at a time.
Filters affect what “select all visible” means. Clear the search and source filter before assuming every library file is selected.
Storage and duplicates#
Uploads are stored as account-owned canonical files. If identical content is uploaded again, Convography can reuse the existing canonical file instead of storing a duplicate. The file can still be selected for the current message.
Library versus graph#
The library is account-wide management. The graph shows how files relate to a particular conversation and its nodes. Deleting a file from the library makes it unavailable to conversations that used it, while removing a graph branch can clean up files no longer referenced anywhere appropriate.
The file library is not a backup service. Download material that must be retained independently.
