Plans & AI credits
Understand trial access, included AI usage, warnings, and rolling limits.
Convography uses plan-based AI credits to account for provider work. Plans define included capacity and image-generation access, while the application records the actual provider usage it can measure.
Current plan families#
The catalog contains a 30-Day Beta Trial with the full Pro experience and three paid plan families:
- Core for lighter everyday work;
- Pro for frequent research, creation, and larger projects;
- Max for intensive workflows and the highest image capacity.
During the current soft launch, Core and Max are shown as coming soon and paid checkout is not enabled for new purchases. Use the live Subscriptions page as the source of truth for availability and pricing.
See Model availability by plan for the current provider and model eligibility attached to each plan family.

How credits work#
AI credits are an application accounting unit, not provider tokens. A request can involve text tokens, generated images, search, retries, title generation, or other provider calls. Convography normalizes recorded cost into the account’s included allowance. Per-message token counts, provider costs, and charged-credit calculations are not displayed in the chat pane; use the workspace warnings and Subscriptions page for account-level usage status.
Usage states#
The application can show:
- a low-credit warning for the current billing period;
- Included usage exhausted, which blocks new AI work until capacity changes;
- a rolling Daily limit reached, which asks you to try later;
- plan access or payment states that restrict messaging.
Warnings appear in the workspace and Subscriptions page. A daily boundary blocks new work; it does not necessarily cancel provider work already processing.
Manage consumption#
- Use Auto for task-appropriate routing.
- Select higher reasoning only when the task benefits.
- Request the number and resolution of images you need.
- Stop retrying during a provider failure.
- Trim irrelevant file context, especially large media.
- Use Send all deliberately because it makes several provider calls.
Trial end#
When beta access ends, conversations remain saved but sending can be restricted until an available plan is selected. The interface explains whether paid plans are available in the current launch phase.
