Code, tables & math
Work with rendered Markdown, code blocks, tables, and LaTeX output.
Assistant answers render GitHub-flavored Markdown with additional math support. Formatting is part of the response display; it does not change the underlying graph structure.
Markdown and tables#
Headings, emphasis, lists, links, block quotes, task lists, and tables render in the chat pane. Wide tables stay within the pane and can scroll rather than stretching the workspace.
If a model returns malformed Markdown, copy the answer or ask it to reformat the content. Convography does not silently rewrite the semantic content to repair every formatting mistake.
Code blocks#
Fenced code renders in a contained code block with its own copy action. Long lines and large blocks stay within the chat surface. Always review code before running it, especially shell commands, migrations, or scripts that alter files or external systems.
def branch_label(topic: str, scenario: str) -> str:
return f"{topic} — {scenario}"
Inline code uses a compact monospace style and is kept distinct from mathematical delimiters.
Math#
Convography renders LaTeX-style inline and display math, including common model output using \(...\) and \[...\] delimiters. For example, an answer can render an inline expression such as \(E = mc^2\) or a display equation:
\[
P(A \mid B) = \frac{P(B \mid A)P(A)}{P(B)}
\]
Long display equations remain contained within the chat pane. Code spans and fenced code blocks are protected from math normalization so programming syntax is not treated as an equation.

Images in Markdown#
Images referenced by a response render inside a bounded frame and can open in a focused tab. Generated images are also represented as attachments with download and grounding details. Never treat an image link from an unknown source as inherently safe; inspect its destination.
