Copy, download & export
Copy an answer or export a response as PDF, Markdown, text, or HTML.
Every completed assistant response has actions for reuse. Available actions depend on whether the answer contains text, generated images, attached files, or a pending/failed state.
Copy text#
Use the copy action beneath an answer to copy its rendered source text. Code blocks also have their own copy control so you can copy only the code without surrounding explanation.
Review copied text before pasting it into another system. Markdown markers, citations, or math delimiters can render differently outside Convography.
Export a response#
For a completed text response, open Download response and choose:
- PDF document (
.pdf) - Markdown (
.md) - Plain text (
.txt) - HTML document (
.html)
Convography generates a file artifact, adds it to the file library and graph relationships, and starts the download. The exported artifact reflects that response, not the entire conversation graph.

Generated images have a direct download action and can also be selected from their preview. Other message attachments expose their file name as a download control when a signed URL is available.
Download URLs are short-lived. If an older link has expired, use the action in Convography again to request a fresh URL.
Find exports later#
Generated exports are stored as app-created files. Open Account settings → Files to browse or download them. They can also appear as file nodes connected to the message that produced them.
What is not exported#
A single response export does not automatically include sibling branches, hidden provider internals, account details, share tokens, or the complete graph topology. For now, export important answers individually. Full conversation and bulk graph export are planned separately and should not be assumed available.
Export failures#
An export can fail because of plan access, exhausted usage, conversion errors, or a temporary storage problem. Read the error in the export menu, avoid repeated clicks, and try another format if the content itself is valid.
